Cooper Standard Expert to Discuss Integrated Exhaust Gas Recirculation Systems at the Engine Expo North America's Open Technology Forum

NOVI, Mich. - Oct. 24, 2011 - As new global emission legislation is driving advancements to standard exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) systems, automotive suppliers are challenged with developing high-performance EGR systems with optimized packaging. Cooper Standard’s Ole Hammer, director of research and development for fluid products, will discuss the latest innovations in EGR system packaging at the Engine Expo North America’s Open Technology Forum on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 3:15 p.m.

Mr. Hammer will present a white paper titled “Integrated EGR Systems: How to Optimize EGR Components in Regards to Performance and Packaging Requirements,” which demonstrates Cooper Standard’s optimized EGR developments that address the packaging requirements of upcoming emissions regulations. During his presentation, he will discuss the tools and approaches automotive suppliers need to implement to continue meeting the demands of current and future regulations.

The Open Technology Forum is located onsite at the Engine Expo North America, which is being held in Novi, Mich. at the Suburban Collection Showplace from Oct. 25 to 27.
