Cooper Standard earned the Veteran-Friendly Employer silver status for meeting and exceeding many key metrics for veteran programs, especially as it related to veteran hiring.

MVAA's Veteran-Friendly Employer program helps qualified organizations recruit and retain top veteran talent while providing others a road map to improve their recruitment efforts. Through its Careers for Veterans program, Cooper Standard met the requirements to achieve silver status. In addition to the new hire benchmark, other requirements included posting veteran-friendly job postings and advertisements, recruitment efforts and apprenticeship or training programs.
